• About Ferris Fain

  My first motorcycle was a Yamahs 175 cc CT-1 1969 I think. Some friends and I started racing motocross at a local track in Nacogdoches. I was in college and started to work Mark's Yamaha-Penton. After a year or so, Mark gave a Penton 125 cc to ride for the shop. We raced at Conroe, Chapel Hill, Swan and Rio Bravo. After the motocross days, we started riding enduros. My favorite bike was a 250 KTM-Penton engine in a 175 cc frame. I rode Husky's and Penton's for several years in the 70's and 80's. I have a KTM 200 XCW and a KTM 450 EXC and ride as much as I can.
